When is City Hall open and where is it located?

9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is located at 815 Fourth Street, next to the Police Department, north of the post office.

How do I set up water/sewer service for my residence?

The City provides water & sewer services to residences within the City limits. If you are the owner of the residence, call (530) 865-1600 to set up your account. If you are renting, a $75.00 deposit is required before setting up your account. This deposit will be returned to you if you continue water service at the residence after a period of one year and no amount is owing on your account. If you close out your account before the year, your deposit will be returned less any amount due.

How do I pay for my water/sewer service?

The City accepts cash, checks or money orders. Some customers set up auto payments with their banks. Your payment can be mailed to 815 Fourth Street, Orland CA 95963 or hand delivered to the same address.

I have grass and brush clippings that I need to dispose of, what can I do with them?

Twice a year the Public Works Department makes a request to City Council for approval to conduct a green waste pick-up for the citizens of Orland. One is held in October and one in April. The green waste dump site that is located at County Road 21 and N is closed until further notice. Please do not place your grass or brush clippings at this site or you will be cited by the Glenn County Sheriff''s Department.

When and where are City Council meetings held?

The Council meets twice a month for their regular meetings on the first and third Mondays. Their meetings are held at the Carnegie Center, 912 Third Street, Orland.
